Detailed budgeting, frequent monitoring of income and expenses, and prompt action to address potential cash flow problems are essential elements of financial planning for retirees. Although this is a dismal forecast, it doesn’t need to be our reality. Education is the great liberator. The nonprofit founded by the Credit Union, the Center for Financial Empowerment, helps break the cycle of generational poverty for high school youth and young adults in our local underserved communities, and it happens through the power of financial education...Read More
