Who Can Join
There are many ways you can be eligible for membership. When you open your account, you’ll need $15 - $5 goes into your savings and secures your ownership in the Credit Union, and the remaining $10 is a tax-deductible donation to our non-profit Center for Financial Empowerment. The Credit Union then matches that donation and helps disadvantaged youth and low-income families, offering financial education, assistance and improvement programs – all right here in the local community. You can access your SCE FCU account, by making deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money transfers and more at thousands of shared branches across the United States. All you need is your photo ID and SCE FCU account number.

View your accounts, make loan and credit card payments, pay bills, transfer funds, apply for a loan, add products and services, set up alerts and more.
|Mobile Banking with Remote Deposit||
Download our free Mobile Banking app for iPhone or Android, featuring Remote Deposit right from your phone. You can also check your account balances, view history, make transfers, pay bills… and, as mentioned, even deposit checks!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means is that when you open an account, we’ll ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
SCE FCU’s field of membership is determined by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). You qualify for membership if you work for a preapproved qualifying organization; if you’re a relative of, or if you live with, an existing member; if you’re an existing member opening another account; or if none of these options apply and you live in the Greater Los Angeles or Greater Las Vegas area, you may still become a member by joining our non-profit, the Center for Financial Empowerment.
