Member Service Representative Floater
Team Member since 2018
It's never too late to be what you might have been. ~ George Eliot
Describe the work you do at the Credit Union.
I have the privilege of being a Member Service Representative Floater, which means I’m able to help our branches whenever there’s a need. At the branch, I assist our members with teller transactions, opening new accounts, account maintenance, as well as educating members on products that benefit them. I love being able to put a smile on their face, whether it’s from offering a product they knew nothing about or helping them find a solution to their problem.
What was your first job?
My first job was working at the front desk of my mother's hair salon.
How did you come to be an SCE Credit Union team member?
Prior to starting at the Credit Union, I always worked in retail.
I started as an intern at SCE Credit Union, helping the Center for Financial Empowerment and the Account Administration department. I officially became a team member when I joined the Duarte branch as a Branch Experience Specialist.
I strive to be the best version of myself. My goal is to further my knowledge and grow within the Credit Union, and to keep making a difference in the lives of our members as well as our team members.
How do you spend your free time?
I spend most of my free time with my 13-year-old twins. We love watching movies and going to the beach. We also enjoy visiting my sister in Carlsbad to spend time with her dog and explore the area.
Do you speak any languages, other than English?
Yes, I can hold a conversation in Spanish!
