Describe the work you do at the Credit Union.
I assist the branch in meeting goals by generating new business through in-branch selling, out-bound calls, developing new partnerships, and ultimately providing superior customer service to every member by utilizing my expertise and product knowledge I've gained through my banking experience. I find it extremely fulfilling and I really enjoy what I do because you get great satisfaction when a member tells you you've fulfilled his/her business need and the relationships you build from those interactions is awesome.
What was your first job?
My first job was at 18 years old and it was Guess Inc and I was a Lead Sales Associate.
How did you come to be an SCE FCU team member?
After working in major banks for eight years, I decided to seek and opportunity in a credit union because I knew the environment would be different than where I was at that time. After researching different credit unions, I was left with two options and ultimately decided on SCE FCU. When I went into the interview process and I saw how inviting and how welcoming it was, I knew this was it. I've worked in the banking industry for nine years. I started as a teller and worked my way up to Personal Banker and then Sr. Personal Banker. Now, I'm a Financial Services Consultant at the Credit Union and I'm completely happy where my experience has led me.
How do you spend your free time?
I spend my free time reading suspenseful books. I love interior design and I'm always changing my house round with new frames and furniture. And I can't forget about dancing! I love to exercise with dance and try to stay active as much as possible. I'm happily married to my amazing husband of two years and hopefully in the near future, one of my life goals is to buy our first home and start a family.
