With that in mind… we’ve been working hard to bring these exciting new features to your SCE FCU banking experience.
Here’s what’s coming August 31!
Debit Card Controls
You’ll be able to turn your Debit Card on and off and set Push Notifications right from your SCE FCU Mobile Banking app! You can even customize which Alerts you’d like to receive and set spending limits. It’s your app… make it yours.
Here’s what you’ll need to do to start using Debit Card Controls:
|Update your app||
On or after August 31, update your SCE FCU Mobile Banking app through Google Play or the App Store.
|Turn on Push Notifications||
Push Notifications are the best way to receive alerts in real time.
To turn on Push Notifications, log in to your Mobile Banking account and tap the More menu. Under Settings, you'll find Push Notifications where you can choose what you'd like to be alerted to.
Don't forget to turn on Interact Messages, too! With Interact, we'll be able to notify you of important information like card compromises in real time! These Push Notifications will allow us to personalize your Mobile Banking experience with secure communication. We've got your back.
|Enroll in Card Controls||You'll need to enroll in Card Controls by logging in to your Mobile Banking account and tapping the More menu, then select Card Controls.|
|Card Controls settings||You can set up your preferred Declines and Alerts and Alert Delivery Options for each of the Debit Cards on your account through the mobile app once it's been updated, as well as change the Card Status on or off.|

Interact through Push Notifications
With Interact, we’ll be able to notify you of important information like card compromises in real time! These Push Notifications will allow us to personalize your Mobile Banking experience with secure communication. We’ve got your back.
In addition, you’ll have access to our new News & Specials section where you can find the most up to date information on the Credit Union and any specials you may want to take advantage of.
You're probably thinking... wait, what about CardNav?
While CardNav is a great app, we felt we needed to move this feature where you need it most… within your Mobile Banking account.
That’s right! You no longer have to log in to a separate app!
So… on September 15, we’ll be discontinuing CardNav and there will be some differences you may notice:
|Monthly spend recap||
While Card Controls doesn’t have this option, the good news is Money Management does! You’ll find Money Management to be a more robust tool for managing your spending while creating budgets… and it’s available through both Online and Mobile Banking.
|Cards from different accounts||
Because Card Controls monitors the Debit Cards within the account you’re logging in to, you’ll need to log in to your other accounts to monitor those Debit Cards separately.
For example: if you’ve set up an account in your child’s name, you’ll need to log into their account to set up Card Controls separate from your own.
This setting is currently being enhanced for a later release. Until then, they’re limited to international transactions only. We’ll keep you posted as to when the enhancement will be available.
