SCE Federal Credit Union Hosts Congresswoman Hahn’s ‘Congress On Your Corner’

IRWINDALE, Calif. (April 5, 2013) -- SCE Federal Credit Union hosted Congresswoman Janice Hahn last week at its Lynwood branch as she met with constituents for “Congress on Your Corner.” The event allowed residents and business owners to meet with Congresswoman Hahn in five-minute intervals to discuss their concerns, interests and learn more about her vision for Lynwood’s continued growth and success.
"I was honored when SCE Federal Credit Union offered me the use of its Lynwood branch for ‘Congress on Your Corner’ since its commitment to helping local businesses achieve success and profitability parallels my own,” said Congresswoman Hahn.
In addition to Lynwood residents and business owners visiting with the Congresswoman, Lynwood’s city officials and department heads met her, including Mayor Sal Alatorre; Jim Morton, Lynwood City Council Member; Sarah Magana Withers, Director of Community Development; Marisela Santana, Public Information Officer and Edwin Hernandez, Treasurer and Greater Lynwood Chamber President.

SCE Federal Credit Union’s CEO Dennis Huber and COO George Poitou had the opportunity to talk to Congresswoman Hahn about helping small business owners in the community and upcoming educational workshops the credit union offers.
